The property and operation is spread over some 100 acres. We were engaged to construct the new residence designed by Barrakuda Design. The home is 385m². The house was designed to a high specification and is predominantly clad in solid plaster, cedar weatherboard and schist stone with a longrun colour steel roof.
The interior is well appointed and has a generous stud height and incorporates Alti powdercoated aluminium joinery. Under floor heating and tiles and schist fire surrounds complete what is a very nice and comfortable home.
With previous experience in the thoroughbred industry, and in conjunction with the owners, we were entrusted with the design and build of the main stable complex and implement facilities. This design was specific for the required use and the external design was kept sympathetic to the main dwelling design. The complex was constructed from masonry block, timber trusses and coloursteel clad roof. The stable complex is some 360m².
We also completed the entry masonry wall and auto electric gates. All this was undertaken in eight months from January to August 2006.
