So by now you know we love all things building, and you’ve probably got a bit of a vibe that we’re pretty passionate people, passionate about a load of things, one of those things being the part of NZ that we call home – the ‘Mighty Manawatu’ (and it’s surrounds of course).
Needless to say, we’re “doers”, and we like “doing” – and that involves getting behind those People, Companies, Teams, who have passion, drive and are doing things we think are pretty darn cool.
Here is a little snippet of some of the things we’ve got right behind and supported in way of sponsorship over the past few years. We love seeing the Humphries brand being showcased this way!
Humphries Construction was proud to sponsor the Cloverlea School in Palmerston North for their amazing new and exciting Bike Track.
Cloverlea School was the last of six schools to have gained funding from Palmerston North City Council for the Bikes in Schools programme where the 50 Bikes and 300 helmets was made possible by community support and sponsorship by local businesses.
We know this will be a hit and what better way to get the kids at school and in the community involved with some outdoor activity.

Humphries Construction was wrapped to enter (again) TEAM HUMPHRIES CONSTRUCTION who did us proud in the Property Brokers, Race to the Brewery held in March this year. There were six gruelling legs for them to endure and our team which was made up mostly of Humphries Construction staff (with the exception of Dean Olsen who we welcomed to our team from Toyota NZ Ltd), did us proud. Thanks guys, well done and we look forward to another challenge in 2018.
All proceeds raised from this event went to Relay for Life, in the fight against cancer.
We love to support our local community and one way we do this is by loaning out our fantastic BBQ Trailer to Businesses, Sports Clubs, Schools/Education centres, various Private Functions and non profit Fund Raising events where they cook up a storm to feed the many that support them at their event.

The Award was judged by the Race Commissaries who follow each stage. It was hotly contested again this year with the worthy recipients being:
