Intermediate / Junior Quantity Surveyor
Residential & Commercial Construction
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Intermediate or Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team working across a range of residential and commercial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting hands-on experience, career development, and the chance to work alongside experienced Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, and our wider management team.
About the Role
This is a varied and busy role where no two days are the same. You will assist with the successful delivery of projects from tendering through to completion while gaining valuable exposure to all aspects of the construction process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate, competitive, and professional quotes, estimates, and tenders within project deadlines
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and compliance requirements
- Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Obtaining and negotiating supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Assisting with project setup, scheduling, and subcontractor engagement
- Supporting Project Managers and Site Managers with on-site requirements
- Managing project administration and reporting using construction software
- Assisting with budgets, documentation, and compliance processes
- Ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, on budget and to a high standard
- Helping maintain strong client relationships and achieving client satisfaction
- Identifying opportunities for project improvement and business growth

The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- A methodical approach with strong attention to detail
- Motivation and willingness to learn
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good computer literacy and confidence using software systems, Bluebeam & CAT projects.
- A positive attitude and strong team focus
- An understanding of the construction industry and relevant legislation
